Justin Bieber suffering from Ramsey hunt syndrome

Justin Bieber has revealed that he has been diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt Syndrome and it has caused half of his face to be paralysed.

Ramsay Hunt Syndrome disease is a virus attacking the nerves in his ear and face. So he is unable to move half of his face.

In addition to the painful shingles rash, Ramsay Hunt syndrome can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss in the affected ear.

Shingles, and by extension Ramsay Hunt, are caused by the virus that causes chickenpox. Those who get the syndrome had chickenpox when they were younger.

"This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn't the case, but, obviously, my body's telling me I've got to slow down," he said

Justin Bieber says he has facial paralysis due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome, He explained that this is why he has cancelled his shows.

Justin Bieber will need a lot of rest and facial exercises to get better, but he doesn't know how much time it will take.

Complications of Ramsay Hunt syndrome may include Permanent hearing loss and facial weakness, Eye damage and Postherpetic neuralgia

Prevention for Children routinely vaccinated against chickenpox and shingles vaccine for people age 50 or older also is recommended.
